Pino Daeni, born Giuseppe Dangelico, in Italy on November 8, 1939, began his studies at the Art Institute of Bari. In 1960, Pino entered Milan's Academy of Brera where he came under the influence of the Pre-Raphaelites and Macchiaioli and his talents for painting nudes developed.

After establishing himself as a successful artist in his native Italy and throughout Europe, Pino immigrated to the United States where he devoted thirteen years to illustrating book covers for such publishers as Dell, Zebra, and Rizzoli.

Throughout the years he illustrated books, Pino never abandoned his passion for fine art. It is in his original oils on canvas and giclees that Pino is able to express his own thoughts and emotions. His canvases elicit feelings of warmth, nostalgia, love, and family.

Pino's work exhibits a sensuous and luminous life. His talent for depicting the human figure in an intimate setting has made his work extremely successful. He currently exhibits at fine art galleries across the country, including Windsor Fine Art.
