Ou Chujian

Ou Chujian was born in Guang Zhou, China in 1950 and was classically trained as a realist painter. His educational background includes four years at the Guang Zhou Academy of Fine Art, The National Academy of Fine Art, China and extended study at the Paris Academy of Fine Art in France.

Ou Chujian mastered the techniques in impressionism as well as realism. The subjects of his paintings range from portraits to nudes, landscapes and still life. He has participated in numerous exhibitions from Malaysia to New York, being awarded the Silver Brush in the 2000 National Painters of America Show. Over one hundred of his unique works are now part of collections all over the world.

Ou Chujian is currently residing in the United States and is a Professor of Art at the San Francisco Academy of Art College. He is recognized as one of the most famous contemporary realist artists of China.
