The Bible Suite was composed of 16 color and 12 black and white lithographs, in addition with the cover and title page. Published by Teriade in the French art review, ÒVerve No. 33-34,Ó Paris, 1956. Originally the concept was initiated with Vollard in 1930 who commissioned 105 engravings of the Bible to be completed by Chagall between 1930-1955. Excellent condition. Printed on a full sheet in bright and fresh colors.
